Would You Like a Breast Bra to Match Your Vagina Panties?

Being the women’s parts and period nerd that I am, seeing these female reproductive system panties floating around the intertubes made my uterus-shaped heart skip a beat. Now that I know there’s a breast bra to match?  I will take 7 pairs, please!

Sadly, none of us will be receiving these anatomically correct lingerie any time soon. They’re part of an art project by 18-year-old English artist Eleanor Beth Haswell provocatively called ”Why are you so afraid of your own anatomy?” Well, why are you? Geez. Haswell runs the Clandestine Collective, a “female identified arts collective” in North East England “aiming to create safe space for young female identified artists of all forms and subjects to explore similar artists ideas and exhibit their work.”

Why is the internet freaking out about this anatomically correct set of female undergarments? Maybe because they’re shocking and oddly refreshing and making a statement, much like the Tata Top we featured in one of our recent Salted: Select Cuts newsletters. And maybe because it’s educational and it means unabashedly parading parts that have been tabooed and misunderstood for too long. Don’t believe me? Ask any of your gal pals to show you, on their bodies, where their fallopian tubes are.

We’ll alert you, and every adolescent middle school girl in the country, if/when these charming undies are ever available for purchase.
